HELP FOR IE 5.01 USERS

blaxxun developers have made some headway in solving the problem IE has brought to users in Cybertown. While the next release of blaxxun Contact will have a more permanent solution it's still under development, so the beta-version (below) can be used as a kind of stop-gap measure. IE users, if you want to try this new version you'll need to follow some steps:

1. go into the directory you installed blaxxun Contact to (C:\Programs\blaxxun Contact or similar)

2. save your original file to be able to restore it later if necessary
   a) Windows95/98 users with DirectX: rename the file "blaxxuncc3d.ocx" to blaxxuncc3d.old
   b) WindowsNT users with OpenGL: rename the file "blaxxuncc3dgl.ocx" to blaxxuncc3dgl.old

3. download this file and save it in a temporary directory:
   a) Windows95/98 users with DirectX: ftp://ftp.blaxxun.de/pub/support/blaxxuncc3d.zip (800kB)
   b) WindowsNT users with OpenGL: ftp://ftp.blaxxun.de/pub/support/blaxxunCC3Dgl.zip (800kB)

4. unzip this file and copy the new "blaxxuncc3d.ocx" or "blaxxuncc3dgl.ocx" into the directory of blaxxun Contact

5. run the program "register.exe" that is located inside the contact-directory
