What do we know about K'hraarn, the author of the Guide? He is known to have arrived in the Omega Quadrant around 2013 having visited various planets while compiling Guides for each. According to his journals, he visited Earth in his 236th year in the 1990's which was when he wrote the observations in his "Guide to Earth". His "Guide to Andamar IV" was very popular across many Quadrants but his "Guide to Earth" was considered so bizarre that most planets had a hard time believing it and it quickly vanished from circulation, although occasionally underground copies would surface.

How a copy came to be in the ruins beyond Cybertown is unknown at this time. When it was first discovered, it was once again considered that it must have largely been fiction. But over time more and more beings have come forward with so much corroborating evidence that we felt that it was our duty to re-publish it, if only as a warning to those who might consider visiting Earth despite the laws prohibiting this.

Details of what eventually happened to K'hraarn are sketchy at this time. It is known that the reactions to his Earth Guide affected him very deeply and he retired from creating planet guides in the early 21st century. His current whereabouts are unknown. His work and his insights are missed.
