Mental "Health"

The biggest problem with Earth's so called mental "health" system is that they have no idea what they're dealing with and so their treatments are usually much more harmful that doing nothing. The most telling evidence of this is that 22% of Earth people will get well even if you do nothing just from their own self-correcting mechanisms. Psychiatry (the name for the worst of the mental "health" practitioners), can only claim a 10% recovery - this means that they are losing 12% who without their interference would get well by themselves. When you have a field with so many different theories of how the mind works and how best to treat people, you know something's seriously wrong with that field and that it certainly isn't even close to being a science.

Since they don't know - or choose to ignore - the true nature of man (they actually think he's a brain or a bunch of chemicals!), they do incredible damage by such things as completely scrambling the electrical field of the body by Electro-Convulsive "Therapy" (ECT) which turns people into vegetables with scrambled memories, cutting out pieces of their brains (thus damaging their motor skills) and by creating drug addicts. You could probably say that their best skill was in creating vegetables. Truly the blind leading the blind. In the 1990's they started the appalling practice of drugging their children. One of their worst drugs, Prozac, later became known as the "mental Thalidomide of the 90's". It was finally outlawed in 2013 when it was proven conclusively that almost every case of a human going beserk and killing others was co-incident with their being on Prozac.

They have things completely backwards in terms of their understanding. Here's an example: they notice that when people get depressed the levels of certain chemicals in their brains change and from this they assume that the depressions are *caused* by the chemical changes instead of the other way around!

Since the failures of mental "health" practices are so obvious, Earthlings have come to the conclusion that this mental "health" system stands for ineffectiveness and something they would very much rather avoid! People have put up with a lot of abuse in this area, but the latest assault - on their young - by drugging school children under the guise of "it's good for you" - is looking like the last straw. Humans fortunately have had enough of being fooled and are starting to come forward to end these abuses as you can see here.
