Colony City is now primarily being created in multi-user 3D Virtual Reality utilizing Blaxxun's Contact multi-user technology. The single user version of the city can already be visited (kind of) with VRML browsers such as Cosmo and WorldView. To explore these sigle user worlds by yourself ideally you'd use the Live3D plug-in (already included in Netscape 3.01). Since most of these worlds are constructed in VRML 1.0, they look and run best with the Live3D plug-in or Netscape 3.01 (which comes with this plug-in and which is still available). Netscape 4 comes with the Cosmo plug-in built in and it is not very backwards-compatible and the results with this are very unpredictable - the worlds don't look as good and some don't work properly at all. Make sure you download the complete version of Netscape 3.01 with the added components.
