COLONY ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are opening special interest clubs where you can meet and interact with people with similar interests. Each club will have special web pages, a bulletin board and a chat room each devoted to the subject of the Club. You will be able to either join Clubs or run Clubs as a Club Owner or both. You can even start your own new Clubs and if you have home pages that deal with any of the themes of our Clubs, you can have them showcased in the Clubs! March 98 - In response to public demand, we have now opened new "safe" chat rooms - both HTML and Java (and avatar-based 3DVR very soon). These are in addition to our existing rooms which we are keeping for those who like their free-for-all atmosphere. What's different about these new rooms is that our Community Leaders can gag those people who are being offensive to others. This makes these rooms particularly safe for kids.

BBS's MOVED, WHITE PAGES UNDERGONE UPGRADEDecember '97 - The Cybertown Bulletin Boards have moved here. The White Pages are now back after a major upgrade. The new optional Frames interface that enables much faster navigation is available here.

Shades of Evil -- The Cybertown MUD!
A MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) is an interactive adventure game
that you can play with players all over the world simultaneously.
THE COLONY WHITE PAGES After you've received your apartment number you can now enter your information in the Colony White Pages Directory so that others can find you and e-mail you. There will be e-phone booths around Cybertown where you will be able to access the Directory and directly e-phone other colonists.
