1. Old Business:

CERB nomination, election process and minutes update:

Mayor Flyby reported that he was receiving some really great feedback from the community and is planning to write another article for the Daily News. WhiteKnight24 reported that because Teens Colony is populated primarily with young adults, there is some difficulty finding candidates who fill the age requirements for CERB. Entertainment Colony is having the most success finding Candidates, having 6 interested citizens at the time of the meeting, whereas the other colonies still have just a small number of interested parties. Taz pointed out that there is still some negativity on Feedback. Members should try to respond more to these comments. It was agreed that all members would continue to advertise and support CERB and endeavor to increase interest. The election process is still being discussed. Council Minutes will continue to be posted on Colony, Feedback & Council message boards. There has been a lot of positive feedback from that practice.

2. V-soccer startup:

There will be city-wide participation in V-soccer and a league will be started. The details and schedules are almost worked out and Mayor Flyby will send the council members specifics to post on their boards. All members are encouraged to support this fun event.

3. Ban records:

A proposal has been made to remove Ban records from a citizens history after a period of time. It was agreed that Bans for a minor offense that happened a long time ago did not effect the citizens ability to obtain a job, however several members stated that they felt this information should still be available and not completely removed as was proposed. The suggestion was made that rather than a set of standards, perhaps handling requests for record removal on a case by case basis would be better. Mayor Flyby requested that members consider this topic and discussion will be continued in the next meeting.

4. Security Alerts:

The constant pop-ups of Instant Messages are causing some problems for Security, making it increasingly difficult to perform their job duties. A prior request for enabling Security members to receive alerts while in hidden mode is still being checked into. Frequently, when a citizen uses the Security Alert, they neglect to let Security know their location. By the time Security finds them the citizens causing the problems are gone. If the Alerts showed the originating location, preferably with a link to that location, this would alleviate this problem and help Security be more effective. This request will also be checked into.

5. New Colony update:

Mayor Flyby reported that 20 great applications have been received. The Colony Leader of Cyberhood must be a Morph, and will abide by the City bylaws and mandates. The Cybertown Constitution will be in full effect in the new colony, which will open soon. The decision of who will be Colony Leader is going to be a challenging one but will be finalized soon.

6. Colony, Places Fund update:

Cybertown staff is still trying to work out a way for a Fund to be set up for Security to use for contests and events, as they have been for the Colonies. Mayor Flyby has been assured that this will be resolved soon.

Respectfully submitted by Vialle City Council
