The time of the great separation when when
reliance on digitizers caused the undoing of most major civilizations of
Earth.
Gol Escapes Earth using the virtual technology that opens a new virtual dimension but is found to be inhabited by the indigenous Terrans and other virtual natives.
Thermidor becomes leader of Morphs. The sworn enemies of Gol and Virtualisim. Some say because he hates technology, but he claims because Gol stole the technology from him.
Gol leaves Hawk in control of the Colony City and sets out to discover new civilizations in the Sinead Galaxy.
Thermidor's Morphs grow reverting to Native American principles found in the desert of the South West he now inhabits. The Colony City accepts large numbers of immigrants.
Thermidor attacks the Colony Cities at the Point World by uploading a virus. This causes panic in the city. Gol and Hawk found the CG's to counter acts of terrorism.
In this time, Themidor stepped up actions against Cytonians by holding them captive. However, the CG's were able to rescue them and keep Thermidor at bay for years.
Gol sends word that the natives of the Sinead Galaxy are receptive to his teachings. He sends for some Terrans to aid him on his journeys. However, many resist this and go underground.
The Colony Cities of the Torkine Galaxy continue to grow under the leadership of Hawk. Plans and agreements are made with most peoples of the Galaxy to form one city. Thermidor continues resistance and controls most of the Northern Hemisphere of Earth.
Cybertown is born from various cities of the Torkine Galaxy. Thermidor starts to send Morphs to infiltrate Cybertown and preach anti-techonolgy ideals. In '87 the Morphs steal the Virtuator but are foiled by Mayor Flyby and Hawk.
The Morphs attack Cybertown and demand their technology back. They win control of Neoworld and the Cyberhood.
The Morphs have long been enemies of Cytonians - for Virt centuries - since the time that early ancient digitizers caused the Modern World to regress to pre-modern times. This is when Vivomorphs came to be shortly after the turn-of-the-millennium when dependence on computers caused the crash of modern society. Reactionary revolutionaries led by the infamous General Thermidor vowed never again to let digitization into their world and reverted to ancient fanatical mysticism and called themselves Vivomorphs (a.k.a. Morphs). That’s when our forefathers, who believed strongly in the separation of vivo and virtual came here to the envirt-galaxy of Torkine and discovered the virtual space shift that created our virtual dimension. It was the great Earthnet explorer Gol who discovered the pathway to this dimension and settled the Colony City that came to be known as Cybertown.
MORPH'S RESPONSE: Yeah, okay. That's how it happened, sure it is. This is the real scoop: This Gol guy and Thermidor worked for the same high tech firm in the Earth's Silicon valley. Gol was the kind of guy that would bum your pen and just, well conveniently forget to give it back. In this time, both Thermidor and Gol would always work late, trying to get ahead. Thermidor always seemed to be supplying the junk food - Gol never seemed to have his own and would bum twinkies constantly. He would always say, "cmon Thermi, give it up, I'll get you back tomorrow." However, tomorrow never came. This was not all. Gol was always kissing up to the boss, trying to grab all the glory, in meeting acting all serious and dedicated and as soon as the boss wasn't looking playing video games. This is how Gol came to be known as Gol. All of his co-workers always said: "That guy's got gol."
Gol's kiss-up tactics worked and he was promoted. At this time, Thermidor had invented the Virtuator technology. Thermidor invented this on his own time. However, he brought the code into work to run a computer test on a more sophisticated machine. Gol, now being Thermidor's supervisor, sent him to Las Vegas to a trade show. This is when the great undoing happened. The next thing you know Gol has escaped Earth using virtual energy - the same virtual energy that our General called the "Thermanator." Gol was the only one that had access to Thermidor's computer. He stole it and left Thermidor in the Las Vegas desert. Turning up year's later in Cybertown with the same technology that he referred to as the Virtuator.
That was in the year 2001. At the time of the great separation, When Gol colonized Cybertown and brought the original Virt pioneers here, Thermidor and his band of Morphs were enraged. Thermidor vowed then to ruin Gol and Cybertown. He gained more power on Earth by resorting to high handed tactics of accusing people who relied on technology to be the enemies of the sprit of Vivid. In the Earth year 2010, Themidor finally had gained all control upon the earth. He destroyed all access to digitalization, except for those who remained underground those who remain our friends and operate Earthnet. The citizens of Cybertown and others of the Virt reality continue to interface and transport to and from along Earthnet through The Tunnel of Gol. On 2043, Thermidor attacked Cybertown with a digital virus that caused the sky to turn black. He uploaded the virus by capturing an underground Earthnet site and enlisting the operators by threats of violence.Again you have skewed the truth. The only problem we had with technology is that we were left without it - it was stolen from us. The people you are saying we threatened, use our own technology to oppress us Morphs. They were in contact with Gol and it was he who ordered them to destroy us for he feared that he would be exposed as the thief he is.
In the late 2050's, there were more conflicts. Cybertown citizens were captured while traveling Earthnet and held hostage. Thermidor sent word that he wanted Gol to return to Earth or he would end the Virt life of the citizens. But Gol again out-smarted Thermidor. He formed an elite group of highly skilled Cytonians and dispatched them to a nearby site to rescue the hostages. This unit was the now famous Cytonian Guard or the CG's as they are known today. Hundreds of men and women citizens have served in the CG's over the Virt decades. These brave men and women are schooled in quantum digitization as well as the ancient languages of digitization so the can preserve the integrity of the path to Earthnet.
The Virtuator - or by its true name, Thermanator - is righteously ours! By stealing it, Gol in effect declared war on the Morphs and our supporters. Now it is time of restitution! If you are not on the side of righteousness then you are an enemy of it and an enemy of the Morphs. All of this other propaganda matters not. We will have justice!
Now we come to present day Cybertown. The Morphs attacked us last summer. A band of eight stole our Virtuator and kidnapped our mayor. They gave us an ultimatum to return to Earth. They said themselves they were anti-technology and now they change their story and say they are the inventors of it? We know they are anti-technology and will ruin Cybertown to force us back to Earth. This is our position and we will fight to the end defending it.
The Morphs are not, and were never will be anti-technology. What we did by stealing the Virtuator was to take back what was rightfully ours and to put our views forward to the people of Cybertown. This band of original eight Morphs were sent to Cybertown to secure undertanding and favorable public opinion. We successfully won the support of many Cytonians who are now part of the Morph family. The fought beside us and helped us to win Neoworld. We know that Gol stole the Virtuator plans from Thermidor. Now Gol's supporters have been brainwashed by the master manipulator. You want us? We say bring it on!
