NOTE: This is recommended for use with the Live3D plug-in (Netscape 3.01) and the Shockwave plug-in for Netscape only. Give it time to load all the textures and images - usually 2-3 minutes at 28.8k. If the car's dashboard loads first and the engine starts, put the brake on and the freeway will load faster. When the road appears, it's fully loaded and ready for you to drive on. Take the brake off and take her away!

The Live3D plug-in is what's known as a "bleeding-edge" (but nonetheless excellent) beta. This means anything could happen! Make sure you have the very latest version.

Another thing is that when you click on a hotlink on the Freeway, the page you go to retains the palette of the VR and looks washed out. A temporary solution is to minimize Netscape and then restore it. This will force the correct palette to return. This will also fix the messed up palette that occurs when going back to another web page from this page.
