NOTE: This is for use with the Live3D plug-in for Netscape 2.0 only. Give it time to load all the textures, background and images - usually under a minute at 28.8k.
Above is a mini version of the Space Station created in Home Space Builder that you can click on and travel through directly on this page. To go to the full-size version, click on the Transport link below. You can also check out our new VR Freeway below.
A
hint for creating a neat effect (thanks to Joey and John Flaherty for turning us on to this) - make the space station spin by moving the
mouse pointer over a portion of it, then click and hold down the right mouse button, then drag the
mouse pointer off the screen while holding the mouse button down, then release the mouse button
before you stop moving the pointer.

The Live3D plug-in is what's known as a "bleeding-edge" (but nonetheless excellent) beta. This means anything could happen! Make sure you have the very latest version. To see the Freeway with its simultaneous Shockwaved animations and audio, you will need the Shockwave plug-in.
Another thing is that when you click on a hotlink in the Space Station, the page you go to retains the palette of the VR and the background will look washed out. A temporary solution is to use ALT+TAB to make any other application (e.g. Newt) the main image and then minimize it. This will force the correct palette to return. This will also fix the messed up palette that occurs when going back to another web page from this page. Oh what fun it is to pioneer new technologies! : )
