Welcome back. We have upgraded the content a little bit to show you some of our work for the future housing in Cybertown. You can go to the planning and housing sections to check it out.
To create a city in cyberspace requires careful planning, especially when we are talking about creating a 3DVR city. Cybertown started as an idea and as it evolved and grew, it became evident that this planning would be required, particularly when converting it into a multiuser VR environment. This planning is still ongoing and most likely Cybertown will continue to change and evolve forever. Like a real city, you need to explore it and sometimes you will discover some new areas where you had never been before. It is part of the charm of a city and we don’t intend to have a rigid environment.
Planning a VR city is very interesting as it has never been done before and it is definitely a pioneering area, full of surprises, wins and sometimes mistakes but it is definitely a learning experience. It would take hundreds of pages to show you all the sketches and concepts that we’ve done (some of them are in the archive section) but here are a few to give you some insight. This office will be updated every month as new concepts are created.
PLANNING

Here you can find a few sketches that were done by our interior designers for possible future spaces created in VRML 2.0.
