	To explore Cybertown in VRML 1.0, you will need a map. Click on the map and you will be able to choose a specific world to start your exploration. We have a lot of worlds waiting for you at this location.


	For those of you who are nostalgic about Old Earth, we have a representation of a block of Rodeo Drive, which was a very popular


	shopping street at the end of the 20th Century on earth. Just click on the picture to teleport.

HISTORIC CYBERTOWN

The VRML worlds in Cybertown started long ago in 1995 (Earth Calendar) when the technology was very, very new (only a few months old) and we were pioneers in that field. For historic reasons, and also the fact that these files are still interesting and fun, you can still visit them. Some of them are even still in use in Cybertown including our VRML freeway, the Campus and the Conference Hall. These worlds are still very popular. Here are the oldest worlds that were created:

The VRML Freeway (The first VRML file in 1995)

The Space Station (1995)

Cybertown (This was the start of the City in 3DVR and our second VRML file)

The Cultural Center (late 1995)


	In the original colony, you could have apartments in VRML. These were the first apartments that were some of the first VRML files created on the EarthNet. These apartments are being replaced by new ones that are much more elaborate and


	interactive using VRML 2.0. Even housing is becoming available! Here were the various apartments that were offered to our first residents:

These apartments were created with Virtus Walkthough Pro from Virtus Corporation and Home Space Builder from Paragraph. Both programs (upgraded versions) are still being used to this date.

The new apartments are much more elaborate and confortable as you can see in the screen below. We are also presently working on new VRML 2.0 apartments that will be much more interactive.. Click on the picture to visit the apartment.
